MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR THESE UPCOMING EVENTS!

Sunday, June 1, 9:45-10:30 am: The Seekers Sunday School Class will begin a MAGI (Members Applying Gifts Intentionally) class during Sunday School in Room 211. If interested in this 6-8 week class, we encourage you to attend. In order to have sufficient supplies on hand, please contact Peggy Lyons (704-753-9823) or Pastor Earl to enroll.

Sunday, June 1: There will be a church-wide covered dish luncheon following the 11:00 am service to celebrate our 2008 graduates and visiting youth choir. Please make plans to attend and fellowship with one another.

Do you wish to lose weight and make a difference for the Kingdom of God? If so, Interrupt Hunger of Mill Grove UMC will have an orientation meeting Monday, June 2 at 6:30 pm in room 212. The class will run from June 16 - Sept. 8 at 6:30 pm. Cost will be $10 to join, $1 each week, and $1 for every pound lost. Proceeds go to help fight hunger. Monday, June 2: The Men’s Softball Team will be playing in the end of season tournament at Shiloh ball field. If the men win they play at 7:00 pm on Tuesday. If they lose they will play 8:00 pm Tuesday.

Tuesday, June 3: The Finance Committee will meet in room 213 at 7:00 pm.

Friday, June 6: Scrapbook Group will meet in room 212 from 6:00-10:00 pm.

Saturday, June 7: There will be a Chicken & Dumplings Supper for Missions in the CLC from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm.

Sunday, June 8:  Administrative Council Meeting at 7:00 pm in room 217.

Sunday, June 22: The United Methodist Men will meet tonight instead of the usual third Sunday which is Father’s Day. The topic for discussion will be a chapter of Andy Griffith’s Bible Study Series. Join us at 6:00 pm in room 217.

Do you have plans for the week of July 4th? Mill Grove UMC will be going to Moss Point, MS June 29th - July 5th to help with Hurricane
