To be HIS hands, HIS feet, HIS Mouth to reach out and share the love of Jesus Christ with hurting people. We pray that wrapping in one of our quilts will help them feel the arms of Jesus around them in their time of pain or sorrow. There is nothing magical in the quilts, but it is the labor of love and prayer that goes into each quilt that God uses to touch a life. On one side of every quilt is a cross. It is intended to be a reminder that we are always cradled in the Arms of our Lord.

When – Tuesday’s from 10:00am - noon and 6:00pm - 8:00 pm.

What we need – People to cut fabric & batting,
layer fabric, design layouts, and sewers
In quilting, thread holds the layers of the quilt together just as God is the anchor that holds our lives together. Before a quilt is presented, we pray over it. It is then delivered and we pray with the person receiving the quilt.
Oh how God has blest this ministry. In February 2010, we will celebrate 3 years of HUGS Ministry. We have made approximately 75 quilts and have prayed with each of the quilt recipients. From the Hugs Ministry came our Prayer ministry. Names go on our prayer board and each name is prayed for as we meet weekly. Each quilt, each prayer, each visit continues to touch hurting lives and we give all the praise to our Heavenly Father!
