Acts 1:8 "You shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

In Christian tradition, “The Great Commission” is the instruction of the resurrected Jesus Christ to his disciples that they spread his teachings to all the nations of the world. The definition summarizes the acts of Jesus' ministry, which is taken as a model motivation for all ministries. It has become a tenet in Christian theology emphasizing, among other things, mission work.

Missions is foundational to the character of Mill Grove United Methodist Church and we take seriously Jesus' command to go into all the world and make disciples.  As born again, Spirit-filled believers we know the joy and blessings that come from being a child of God and want to share this with others. We are committed to serve the people on Jesus' behalf and we need your help.

ANYONE can participate in mission work. Maybe you can’t swing a hammer but ask anyone who has ever been on a building team how important the cooks are.

Romans 12:5 “So in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.”

Weather bringing in a few cans for a food drive, serving meals at the homeless shelter, replacing a roof blown off of a house during a hurricane or anything in between, know you will be blessed by being a blessing to others.
